Please read these Terms & Conditions carefully before registering an account or using any service offered on thehughesjonescentre.ca. By accessing the Website or clicking "I Agree" during registration, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms in their entirety.

1. Introduction & Acceptance

1.1. Agreement

These Terms & Conditions ("Terms", "Agreement") constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("Player", "User", "you") and Realz ("we", "us", "our", "the Company", "the Brand"), operator of the online gaming platform accessible at thehughesjonescentre.ca ("Website", "Platform").

1.2. Scope

These Terms govern your use of all products, services, games, promotions, and features offered on the Platform. They apply alongside any additional rules, bonus terms, tournament rules, or game-specific guidelines published on the Website, all of which are incorporated herein by reference.

1.3. Amendments

Realz reserves the right to amend, modify, or replace these Terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated via the email address registered to your account or by a prominent notice on the Website. Continued use of the Platform after amendments take effect constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms. The version number and "Last Updated" date at the top of this document will reflect the most current revision.

1.4. Language

These Terms are provided in English. In the event of any inconsistency between a translated version and the English version, the English version shall prevail.

2. Definitions

For the purposes of these Terms, the following definitions apply:

• "Account" – the personal account registered by a Player on the Platform.
• "Balance" – the total funds held in a Player's Account, comprising Real Money Balance and Bonus Balance.
• "Bonus Balance" – funds credited to a Player's Account as a promotional bonus, subject to wagering requirements.
• "Real Money Balance" – funds deposited by the Player using real currency.
• "KYC" – Know Your Customer; the identity and age verification process required by the Platform.
• "Wagering Requirement" ("Playthrough")" – the number of times a bonus amount must be wagered before it can be withdrawn.
• "RNG" – Random Number Generator; the certified software mechanism ensuring random outcomes in games.
• "Prohibited Territories" – jurisdictions where access to and use of the Platform is restricted or prohibited.
• "Self-Exclusion" – a voluntary restriction that prevents a Player from accessing their Account for a defined or indefinite period.
• "Intellectual Property" – all trademarks, logos, software, content, designs, and other proprietary materials owned by or licensed to Realz.
• "Force Majeure" – any event beyond the reasonable control of the Company, including but not limited to natural disasters, acts of war, government actions, or infrastructure failures.
• "CAD" – Canadian Dollar, the primary transactional currency of the Platform.

3. Eligibility & Registration

3.1. Age Requirement

You must be at least 19 years of age to register and use the Platform. In provinces where the legal gambling age is 18, the minimum age requirement remains 19 to ensure uniformity of service. By registering, you confirm that you meet this age requirement. The Platform strictly prohibits access by minors.

3.2. Geographic Eligibility

The Platform is intended for players located in Canada. Residents of certain provinces or territories where online gambling is restricted may be excluded from specific services. It is your sole responsibility to ensure that accessing and using the Platform is lawful in your jurisdiction before registering.

3.3. Registration Process

To open an Account, you must complete the registration form accurately and honestly. You agree to provide:

• Your full legal name;
• A valid date of birth;
• A valid residential address in Canada;
• A valid and active email address;
• A unique username and secure password.

Providing false, misleading, or incomplete information during registration constitutes a material breach of these Terms and may result in immediate Account suspension or termination.

3.4. One Account Per Player

Each individual is permitted to hold only one Account on the Platform. Creating duplicate or multiple accounts ("multi-accounting") is strictly prohibited. If we detect that a Player holds more than one Account, we reserve the right to close all duplicate accounts, void any associated bonuses, and withhold withdrawals pending investigation.

3.5. Know Your Customer (KYC) Verification

Realz is committed to responsible and compliant operations. All Players are required to complete KYC verification before processing withdrawals or, at our discretion, at any point during account activity. You may be asked to provide:

• Government-issued photo ID (e.g., passport, driver's licence);
• Proof of address (e.g., utility bill, bank statement dated within 3 months);
• Proof of payment method (e.g., copy of credit/debit card, e-wallet screenshot);
• Additional documentation as required by our compliance team.

Failure to provide requested documentation within a reasonable timeframe may result in Account suspension and the withholding of funds pending resolution.

3.6. Account Security

You are solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials. You must not share your username, password, or account access with any third party. Realz will not be liable for any loss or damage arising from unauthorized access to your Account resulting from your failure to safeguard your credentials. Please notify us immediately at [email protected] if you suspect unauthorized account access.

4. Account Management

4.1. Account Currency

The primary currency of the Platform is Canadian Dollars (CAD). All transactions, including deposits, withdrawals, balances, and bonus amounts, will be displayed in CAD unless otherwise stated for specific promotions.

4.2. Account Closure by Player

You may request the closure of your Account at any time by contacting our support team at [email protected]. Prior to closure, all pending withdrawal requests will be processed in accordance with these Terms. Account closure does not override any outstanding obligations, including but not limited to, pending KYC documentation requirements.

4.3. Account Suspension or Termination by Realz

Realz reserves the right to suspend, restrict, or permanently close your Account if:

• You breach any provision of these Terms;
• We suspect fraudulent activity, money laundering, or bonus abuse;
• You fail to complete KYC verification within the requested timeframe;
• You are found to be a minor;
• You are accessing the Platform from a Prohibited Territory;
• Your conduct poses a risk to the integrity of the Platform or other players.

4.4. Dormant Accounts

An account is considered dormant if there has been no login activity for a period of 12 consecutive months. Realz will make reasonable efforts to notify you before applying any dormancy fees. A monthly administrative fee of CAD $10 (or the remaining balance, whichever is lower) may be deducted from dormant accounts. Accounts with a zero balance will be closed automatically after the dormancy period without further notice.

5. Deposits & Withdrawals

5.1. Accepted Payment Methods

Realz accepts the following payment methods for deposits and withdrawals where applicable:

• Visa (credit and debit);
• Mastercard (credit and debit);
• Interac e-Transfer;
• Interac Online;
• iDebit;
• MuchBetter;
• Paysafecard;
• ecoPayz (ecoVoucher);
• Bitcoin and select major cryptocurrencies (where supported);
• Bank Wire Transfer.

The availability of specific payment methods may vary based on your province of residence and may change from time to time. Please refer to the Cashier section of the Platform for the most current options.

5.2. Deposit Terms

• Minimum Deposit: CAD $10 (may vary by method);
• Maximum Deposit: CAD $10,000 per transaction (or as displayed in the Cashier);
• Deposits are generally credited to your Account instantly or within minutes, depending on the payment provider;
• Realz does not accept deposits from third-party sources. All funds must originate from a payment method registered in your name;
• We reserve the right to refuse or return deposits that we reasonably believe to be associated with fraudulent or suspicious activity.

5.3. Withdrawal Terms

• Minimum Withdrawal: CAD $20 (may vary by method);
• Maximum Withdrawal: CAD $5,000 per day; CAD $15,000 per week; CAD $30,000 per month (subject to VIP tier adjustments);
• Withdrawals will be processed back to the same payment method used for the original deposit where technically possible;
• Processing time: e-wallets and Interac (1–3 business days); bank transfers (3–7 business days); card withdrawals (3–5 business days);
• All withdrawal requests are subject to completed KYC verification;
• Realz reserves the right to request additional verification before releasing withdrawal funds.

5.4. Fees

Realz does not charge fees on standard deposits or withdrawals. However, your bank, card issuer, or payment provider may apply their own transaction fees. Currency conversion fees may apply where transactions occur in currencies other than CAD.

5.5. Anti-Money Laundering

All financial transactions on the Platform are subject to anti-money laundering (AML) controls. We reserve the right to delay, investigate, or refuse any transaction that triggers our AML monitoring systems. Players may be required to provide source-of-funds documentation as part of AML due diligence.

6. Bonuses & Promotions

6.1. General Bonus Terms

From time to time, Realz may offer bonuses, free spins, cashback rewards, loyalty points, or other promotional incentives ("Bonuses"). All Bonuses are subject to these general terms as well as any specific terms attached to the individual promotion.

6.2. Wagering Requirements

• Unless stated otherwise, bonuses carry a wagering requirement of 35x the bonus amount before any derived winnings may be withdrawn;
• Wagering requirements must be fulfilled within 30 calendar days of the bonus being credited to your account, or the bonus and any associated winnings will be forfeited;
• Wagers placed with Bonus Balance do not contribute to the Real Money Balance until wagering requirements are fully met;
• Realz reserves the right to alter wagering requirements for specific promotions, which will be clearly stated in the relevant promotion terms.

6.3. Game Contribution to Wagering

Not all games contribute equally to wagering requirements. The standard contribution rates are as follows:

A list of excluded games is maintained in the Promotions section of the Platform and may be updated without prior notice.

6.4. Bonus Restrictions

• Bonuses are intended for recreational and personal use only and may not be sold, transferred, or exchanged;
• Each promotion is limited to one per player, household, IP address, device, or payment method;
• Abuse of bonuses, including but not limited to arbitrage betting, systematic low-risk wagering strategies designed to exploit bonus terms, or coordinated play, will result in forfeiture of bonuses and associated winnings;
• Realz reserves the right to withdraw a bonus offer or cancel an active bonus at any time if it determines that a Player has acted in bad faith or in violation of these Terms.

6.5. Maximum Bet During Bonus Play

While a Bonus Balance is active, the maximum bet per round or spin is CAD $5 (or currency equivalent), unless a promotion explicitly states otherwise. Bets exceeding this limit during bonus play may result in the forfeiture of the bonus and any associated winnings.

7. Games & Fair Play

7.1. Random Number Generator (RNG)

All games available on the Platform use certified Random Number Generator (RNG) technology to ensure fair, random, and unpredictable outcomes. Our RNG systems are independently tested and certified by recognized third-party testing laboratories. Return-to-player (RTP) percentages for each game are available within the game information panel.

7.2. Technical Malfunctions

In the event of a technical malfunction, software error, or connectivity interruption that affects the outcome of a game round, Realz reserves the right to void the affected game round and refund the applicable wager to the Player's Account. The Company shall not be liable for any claimed or perceived winnings that result from a system error, malfunction, or misinterpretation of game rules. "Malfunction voids all pays and plays."

7.3. Prohibited Activities

The following activities are strictly prohibited on the Platform:

• Use of automated software, bots, scripts, or artificial intelligence to interact with games or the Platform;
• Exploiting software bugs, glitches, or vulnerabilities;
• Collusion with other players;
• Chip-dumping or deliberate loss of funds to another account;
• Any form of cheating, fraud, or manipulation;
• Using VPN, proxy, or anonymizing software to circumvent geographic restrictions.

Violation of these rules may result in immediate Account suspension, forfeiture of all funds, and referral to relevant authorities.

7.4. Game Availability

Realz makes no guarantee that any specific game will be continuously available. Games may be withdrawn, suspended, or modified at any time due to technical issues, licensing requirements, or provider decisions. Realz shall not be liable for any loss resulting from the unavailability of a game.

8. Tournaments & Lotteries

8.1. Tournament Participation

Realz may host tournaments, leaderboard competitions, and prize draws from time to time. Participation in such events is subject to these Terms as well as any specific tournament rules published at the time of the event.

8.2. Tournament Rules

• Entry fees (where applicable) will be debited from the Player's Real Money Balance unless otherwise specified;
• Tournament prizes will be credited to the winner's Account within 72 hours of the tournament conclusion;
• In the event of a tie, prizes may be split equally among tied players or decided by a tiebreaker, as specified in the tournament rules;
• Realz reserves the right to cancel, modify, or suspend any tournament at its sole discretion, in which case any buy-in fees will be refunded.

8.3. Prize Draw Lotteries

Where prize draws are offered, eligibility criteria, ticket acquisition methods, and prize details will be outlined in the specific promotion terms. All draws are conducted by a random selection process to ensure fairness.

9. Intellectual Property

9.1. Ownership

All content on the Platform, including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, button icons, images, audio clips, digital downloads, data compilations, and software, is the property of Realz or its content suppliers and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

9.2. Permitted Use

You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to access and use the Platform and its content for personal, non-commercial purposes only. This licence does not include the right to:

• Copy, reproduce, or distribute any content from the Platform;
• Modify, adapt, or create derivative works;
• Use data mining, scraping, or similar data-gathering methods;
• Commercially exploit any part of the Platform without our express written consent.

9.3. Third-Party Content

Game content provided by third-party game developers remains the intellectual property of those developers. Realz holds appropriate licences for the display and operation of all third-party content available on the Platform.

10. Limitation of Liability

10.1. Platform Availability

Realz strives to maintain continuous Platform availability but does not guarantee uninterrupted access. Scheduled maintenance, unexpected outages, or events beyond our control may result in temporary service disruptions. Realz shall not be liable for any losses incurred during such periods.

10.2. Exclusion of Damages

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Realz and its affiliates, officers, employees, agents, partners, and licensors shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, punitive, or exemplary damages, including but not limited to:

• Loss of profits, revenue, or data;
• Business interruption;
• Losses arising from unauthorized access to or alteration of your transmissions or data;
• Any matter beyond our reasonable control.

10.3. Cap on Liability

Where liability cannot be fully excluded by law, the total aggregate liability of Realz to you for any claim arising out of or in connection with your use of the Platform shall not exceed the greater of: (a) CAD $500; or (b) the total amount deposited by you in the 30 days preceding the event giving rise to the claim.

10.4. Force Majeure

Realz shall not be held liable for any delay or failure to perform its obligations under these Terms where such delay or failure results from a Force Majeure event. In such circumstances, Realz will use reasonable endeavours to minimise the impact of the event.

11. Dispute Resolution

11.1. Internal Complaints Process

If you have a complaint or dispute regarding any aspect of the Platform, you should first contact our customer support team at [email protected]. Please include your username, a description of the issue, and any relevant supporting information. We aim to acknowledge all complaints within 48 hours and resolve them within 14 business days.

11.2. Escalation

If your complaint is not resolved to your satisfaction through our internal process, you may request escalation to our senior compliance team. Our compliance team will conduct a thorough review and provide a final decision within 28 calendar days.

11.3. Alternative Dispute Resolution

If a dispute remains unresolved following our internal escalation process, you may seek alternative dispute resolution through an independent third-party mediation or arbitration body of mutual agreement. Details of ADR options available to Canadian players will be provided upon request.

11.4. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws applicable to the provision of online gaming services in Canada. Any legal proceedings shall be conducted in the English language.

12. Health & Safety

12.1. Player Well-being

Realz is committed to the health and well-being of all players. We recognize that gambling can pose risks and encourage all players to approach gaming as a form of entertainment rather than a source of income. 12.2. Alcohol and Impairment

We advise against gambling while under the influence of alcohol, drugs, or any other substance that may impair your judgment. Realz cannot be held responsible for decisions made while a Player is in an impaired state; however, if we identify a pattern of behaviour that suggests impairment, we may temporarily restrict access to the Player's Account.

13. Responsible Gaming

Realz takes the issue of problem gambling seriously. We offer a range of tools to help players maintain control over their gambling activity, including:

• Session Time Limits;
• Loss Limits;
• Cooling-Off Periods (24 hours to 6 weeks);

14. Miscellaneous

14.1. Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy and any specific promotion or game rules published on the Platform, constitute the entire agreement between you and Realz with respect to your use of the Platform, superseding all prior agreements, representations, or understandings of any nature.

14.2. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found by a court of competent jurisdiction to be invalid, illegal, or unenforceable, that provision shall be modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it enforceable, or severed if modification is not possible, without affecting the validity of the remaining provisions.

14.3. Waiver

The failure of Realz to enforce any right or provision of these Terms shall not constitute a waiver of that right or provision unless explicitly acknowledged in writing by an authorised representative of Realz.

14.4. Assignment

You may not assign or transfer your Account, rights, or obligations under these Terms to any third party without our prior written consent. Realz may assign its rights and obligations under these Terms without restriction.
